With an AS9100-certified quality system and a culture built around precision, pace, and pride, this is an environment where craftsmanship and technical excellence truly matter.Your New RoleThis position offers the chance to work in a highly technical, hands-on setting where you'll take ownership of one-off and short-run components from set-up through to final inspection. You'll operate within a small, fast-moving team that mirrors the mindset of an elite motorsport machine shop - delivering complex parts right first time under demanding lead times.Key ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility for tool set-up, 5-axis machining, in-process verification, and final inspectionDeveloping workholding and proving out set-ups.Achieving and maintaining tolerances of =0.05 mm across titanium, aluminium, stainless steel, and nickel alloysSelecting and optimising tooling, feeds, and speeds to balance quality, cycle time, and tool lifeMeasuring and recording dimensions using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, FARO arm, and gauges in line with AS9100 requirementsWorking closely with AM, programming, and QA teams to ensure right-first-time deliveryWhat you need to succeed:2-3 years' experience setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling centresStrong understanding of machining processes and tooling selectionConfident working under pressure with minimal supervisionClear communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetGenuine interest in producing complex, high-performance componentsDesirable ExperienceExposure to metal additive manufacturing and post-processingProbing, metrology, GD&T, CMM workflows, and basic SPCMachining high-strength alloys such as titanium and InconelThe RewardsThis is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of advanced manufacturing, producing components that perform in some of the most demanding environments.
