CNC Machinist

My client is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team. They are leading manufacturer of automated material handling solutions, selling UK and overseas. They try where possible to manufacture everything in house in keeping with their Made in Britain philosophy.
Their ideal candidate will ideally have proven experience in CNC machining, milling and turning, as well as FUSION to convert designs to CNC ready CAM programs.

CNC Machinist role:
The CNC Machinist will report to the Engineering Manager and responsible for:
Using Fusion to convert CAD to CAM for both machine types (milling and turning)
Set jobs and run small job batches
Quality check parts
Organise material supply
Organise tool and tooling supplies
Be involved with downstream build and assembly processes
Work with the rest of the team to produce components and equipment
Depending on the candidate my client will provide HAAS and Fusion training
SolidWorks training can be provided if required

CNC Machinist requirement:
CNC machining capability 2+ years, milling and turning ideally
HAAS VF-4SS and HAAS ST-25Y CNC machinery - beneficial not essential
Experience with Fusion
Good organisational skills
Happy to work with spreadsheets and general computing systems
Should be used to working with a small team

CNC Machinist package:
Salary dependant on experience
8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday
Occasional overtime would be required
22 days holiday
3% employer contribution pension
