Are you someone who loves making things? Do you get a buzz from figuring out how to turn drawings and ideas into real, tangible products using your hands, tools, and machines?
At Cristofoli International, we specialise in high-end, lightweight stone fabrication for exciting projects in the UK and internationally — from sleek stone countertops in Emirates aircraft bars to architectural cladding on buildings in central London.
We’re after someone who’s not just technically capable — but curious, driven, and genuinely excited by the process of engineering and making. You enjoy variety, thrive on responsibility, and take pride in quality craftsmanship.
We’re a dynamic close-knit team and are looking for a hands-on, proactive, and creative CNC Machinist. You might have a background in manufacturing, machining, engineering, or fabrication, but above all, we’re looking for someone who’s a positive, motivated team player and who sees challenges as opportunities to improve.
Stone industry experience is a bonus — but not essential. Full training is available for the right candidate with the right attitude.
What makes this job exciting?
You’ll be an integral part of the team working closely with our in-house design and production team — bringing ideas to life and figuring out how to make things work for a wide range of projects.
You’ll work on unique, one-off projects — no two days are the same. One week you might be making luxury bespoke stone doors; the next, precision-cutting panels for high-rise façades in London.
If you’re the kind of person who gets satisfaction from standing back at the end of the day and saying “I made that,” you’ll feel right at home here.
We use a mix of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge CNC/CAD machinery, so you’ll be working with both your hands and your head.
Who we're looking for:
Someone with an engineering mindset — you love working things out, thinking in 3D, and making things the right way.
Hands-on skills — whether it’s tools, machines, or materials, you’re confident and curious about how to use them to create something exceptional.
3D CAD skills – Ideally you have some experience working with 3D CAD (e.g. Alphacam, Fusion 360, or similar).
Experience working with machines – We have 5-axis CNC machines and a 3-axis waterjet cutting machine in-house. The role will include the programming, setup, machine operation, and engineering thinking required to use these machines.
A positive attitude and collaborative spirit — we’re a small, dynamic team where everyone contributes.
An eye for detail and a natural problem-solver — you enjoy the challenge of figuring things out and making things better.
You don’t need to know everything — we offer full training and support — but a willingness to learn and a passion for making are essential. xehkeey
