Their capabilities include CNC and conventional machining, gear cutting, fabrication, and reverse engineering from samples or worn parts.Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit experienced CNC Millers and CNC Turners on a permanent basis.The RolesThese are hands-on positions where you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines, taking jobs from concept through to completion.You will be working in a true jobbing environment, producing bespoke components and working from both engineering drawings and physical samples.CNC MillingHurco Machining Centres (WinMax controls)XYZ Protrack machinesCNC TurningDoosan Puma Lathes (Fanuc controls)XYZ Lathes (Protrack controls)Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming, setting, and operating CNC machinesWorking from engineering drawings and/or sample partsManufacturing components from start to finishMachining a wide range of materialsEnsuring high standards of quality and precisionSelf-inspection of completed workCandidate RequirementsProven experience in CNC milling or turningAbility to programme (online), set, and operateExperience working in a jobbing or subcontract environmentConfident working from drawings and/or reverse engineering from samplesStrong attention to detail and qualityWorking HoursMonday Thursday: 07:00 16:00Friday: 07:00 12:0039 hours per weekThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, reputable engineering company known for its high standards, diverse workload, and strong customer focus.
