Job Title: CNC Programmer / Operator (Fanuc) Location: Longton Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am 4:30pm | Friday 8:00am 3:30pm Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator with Fanuc experience to join their team. The Role This is a key position within the machining department, responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machines using Fanuc controls. The successful candidate will ensure components are produced accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming CNC machines using Fanuc controlsSetting and operating CNC machineryReading and interpreting engineering drawingsSelecting appropriate tooling and setting offsetsProducing components to tight tolerancesInspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are metCarrying out routine machine maintenance and troubleshootingRequirementsProven experience as a CNC Programmer / OperatorStrong working knowledge of Fanuc CNC control systems (essential)Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience working to tight tolerancesStrong attention to detail and qualityGood understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environmentWorking HoursMonday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am 3:30pmBenefitsOnsite parkingCanteen facilitiesEarly finish on FridaysThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and reputable manufacturing business offering stable, full-time hours.
