CNC Lathe Programmer
Location:Hyde, SK14
Hours:39 hours per week
MondayThursday: 8:00am 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Friday: 8:00am 3:30pm

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to program, set, and operate three CNC turning machines, all running on Fanuc controls. The role is temporary to permanent depending on performance, experience, and overall fit within the team.

You will be responsible for producing high-precision components to engineering drawings, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining efficiency and productivity.

Machines You Will Be Programming & Setting:

  • Victor VTURN-20(Fanuc control)
  • Ward Hi-Tech Cutex 240B(Fanuc control)
  • Citizen A32(Fanuc control)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming from engineering drawings
  • Setting and operating CNC lathes
  • Optimising programs for efficiency and cycle time
  • Selecting tooling and adjusting offsets
  • Conducting first-off inspections and maintaining quality standards
  • Working independently and managing workload effectively

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience programming and setting CNC lathes
  • Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Self-motivated and reliable
