Morson are recruiting for an experienced CNC Grinder. This is a 6 month contract (initially) working onsite at our aerospace client based in Wolverhampton. Shifts available are Earlies and back shift rotated weekly.

Shifts :

Double day shift - earlies and lates rotated weekly. £26.18 per hour PAYE plus holiday - £3.81 per hour / £35.70 per hour Umbrella)

You'll be responsible for the setup, operation, and quality output of cylindrical grinding machines while supporting new equipment and part introductions. This role will suit someone passionate about precision, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional product quality.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

• Set and operate both external and internal cylindrical CNC grinders. • Perform basic program/offset manipulation and use integrated machine probe systems. • Validate parts using measurement systems and ensure adherence to specifications. • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to support development and NPI activities. • Follow process layouts, work instructions, and comply with quality standards. • Coordinate First Line Maintenance and TPM as required. • Support personal and team skill development, while maintaining high safety standards.
