JDR Recruitment is working in partnership with a manufacturing company to recruit for a CNC / Band Saw Operator to join their busy team in Pleasley, near Mansfield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation of CNC and Band Saw machines safely
• Conduct basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
• Report defects, inconsistencies, or machine issues to supervisors
• Workplace Safety & Maintenance
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
• Participate in hands-on training sessions to improve on CNC machining skills
• Take initiative to improve processes and enhance efficiency

Requirements:

• Production or manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
• Comfortable with basic measurements and reading technical instructions
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling materials
• Some CNC/Bandsaw experience
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, or machine operation
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00

Friday - 07:00 - 13:00

Temp to perm role, with opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks subject to performance conduct and attendance.

Location: Pleasley, Nottinghamshire - due to location, and limited public transport, own transport for work is essential.
