CMM Operator – Permanent Role Full-time | 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Day shift & night shift

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable CMM Operator to join our inspection team. You’ll be responsible for the accurate measurement of precision-machined components, using both CMM equipment and manual methods, to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

Key responsibilities:

Operate CMM equipment to carry out dimensional inspections on connectors and machined parts

*

Use manual measuring tools to verify first-off and production components

*

Record inspection results and complete first-off documentation accurately

*

Produce non-conformance reports and support corrective action follow-up

*

Maintain a clean and organised inspection area and assist with regular CMM checks

*

Liaise with production and QA teams to communicate any non-conformance issues

*

Support general inspection tasks and contribute to a smooth-running department

What we’re looking for:

Experience in a similar CMM or inspection role within an engineering environment

*

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

*

Confident with technical drawings and dimensional tolerances

*

Experience using PcDmis CMM software would be an advantage
