About the Role
Two of the most exciting Hotels in Edinburgh – Malmaison Edinburgh City and Malmaison Edinburgh – are looking for an experienced Cluster Sales Manager to drive the sales strategy in the city.
Malmaison Edinburgh City is a luxury boutique hotel in the centre of Edinburgh with 72 bedrooms and suites, a brasserie and bar, and a private dining room.
Malmaison Edinburgh, the original, is set in the historic Leith waterfront and still close to the city centre by tram or bus, offering flexible meeting and event space with 100 bedrooms including suites.
Individually these hotels present a mouth‑watering opportunity for a driven, target‑focused Sales Manager, and together they bring amazing opportunities to sell two fabulous hotels to the Edinburgh market and beyond.
Responsibilities
Lead a small proactive sales team with a focus on corporate and group rooms, meetings and events.
Produce and maintain the Sales and Marketing plans for both hotels in collaboration with the General Managers.
Analyze and negotiate, employing strong organisational and communication skills to drive sales performance.
Maintain knowledge of the Edinburgh market and industry trends.
Operate outside a traditional 9‑5 office environment.
Qualifications
Proven background within a hotel sales environment.
Strong negotiation, organisational and communication skills.
Analytical mindset.
Experience and understanding of the Edinburgh market preferred.
