Salary: £32,000 basic salary plus regular bonuses upon reaching or exceeding targets. Realistic OTE £38,000 - £45,000 Job Summary: The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the bar and catering services at the golf club. This includes managing the bar staff, planning and executing catering events, ensuring quality service to members and guests, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bar and catering areas. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the bar and catering services. Hire, train, and supervise bar and catering staff, ensuring high levels of customer service. Plan and coordinate catering events such as dinners, wakes, team matches, charity days, social events and club competitions. Develop and implement menus and pricing strategies for the bar and catering services. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the bar and catering areas. Manage budgets and financial targets for the bar and catering operations. Maintain a clean and organized bar and catering area, including equipment maintenance and cleanliness. Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, guests, and vendors. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the bar and catering services. Ensure that the clubhouse/bar can collect green fees for visitors when the Golf Reception is closed. Ensure the clubhouse regular maintenance tasks are completed on time Manage the adhoc repairs to the clubhouse Ensure all environmental certifications are kept up to date Key Requirements: Proven experience in bar and catering management, preferably in a hospitality or golf club setting. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Knowledge of food and beverage regulations and health and safety standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point of sale systems. Certification in food handling and a private alcohol licence.
