Spire Bushey Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist, preferably with oncology experience, to join our team part time - 30 hours. This role is ideally suited to someone who is looking for the challenge of delivering a comprehensive pharmacy service within a hospital setting. The hospital offers a premium service in key areas of complex healthcare including orthopaedics, neurology, spinal, general, cardiac care, and gynaecology. Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre - based on Centennial Park in Elstree - just 5 minutes from the main hospital site. Duties and responsibilities * The provision of an exemplary pharmacy service, in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements and accepted professional and ethical standards * The provision of advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients whilst ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines. * To advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and it's departments, whilst staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards * Promoting a patient focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service. Who we're looking for * Experience with clinical ward rounds * Pre-Assessment experience preferred * Ideally Experience with oncology and BOPA accredited * Be GPHC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions * Have a minimum of 2 years, post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level * Clinical diploma desirable Working Hours: Part Time - 30 hours - Monday - Friday 8am-5pm / 9am-5pm and some Saturdays 8am-1pm.
