Clinical Lead Nurse – Children’s Services | Up to £50,000 | 40 Hours per week


Our client is a well-established, high-quality domiciliary care provider supporting children and young people with complex health needs in their own homes. With a dedicated focus on providing safe, compassionate, and person-centred care, the service supports both live-in and complex care packages across the region.


As Clinical Lead Nurse, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care for children with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding, and epilepsy management. You’ll provide hands-on training to care staff, oversee care planning, and collaborate with both office and field teams to uphold high clinical and regulatory standards.


What You’ll Need:

  • Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN) – or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with demonstrable experience in paediatric or complex care
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead, Band 6 Nurse, or similar senior clinical role
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience in managing complex care needs, including PEG, tracheostomy, epilepsy, ventilator care, and catheter care
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, care planning, safeguarding, and clinical governance
  • Confident in delivering hands-on training and competency assessments to staff


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance for complex and live-in care services
  • Carry out competency assessments and deliver practical training in interventions such as tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding, epilepsy management, and more
  • Ensure care plans are person-centred, robust, risk-assessed, and aligned with individual needs
  • Work closely with the wider team to uphold CQC regulations and promote best practice across the service
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safeguarding processes
  • Support the continuous professional development of staff, ensuring high standards of care delivery
