Exciting Opportunity: Part-Time Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location:Flexible across Huntingdon and Peterborough Locality (base negotiable)

In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a dedicated community-based therapy team, delivering high-quality rehabilitation services. You’ll work closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, and collaborate with Nursing and Mental Health professionals to ensure holistic care.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work as an autonomous practitioner within the integrated multi professional Community Therapy team to provide a high standard of care to our patients.

This role will complement the existing Clinical Lead Occupational Therapists in the locality, to provide clinical leadership to all clinicians delivering Occupational Therapy interventions as well as providing resilience in managing the throughput, allocations and staff across the locality.

The service includes assessing, planning and developing specialist Occupational Therapist programmes for patients with a wide variety of complex needs. Clinicians are responsible for their own caseload, prioritising referrals according to clinical need, signposting appropriately and undertaking assessment of patients with complex and multiple pathologies using advanced, specialist clinical reasoning skills.

This role is crucial in providing clinical expertise and mentorship so that all registered clinicians can provide a high-quality standard of care.
