We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join a well-established Nursing and Residential Care Home in Rugby. The service provides high-quality long-term and respite care, including specialist support for individuals living with dementia, within a comfortable and thoughtfully designed setting.
This welcoming home has a long-standing history of delivering compassionate care within the local community, with roots dating back over a century. Now operating as a purpose-built service, it offers modern facilities including private, en-suite accommodation and attractive outdoor spaces for residents and their families.
With approximately 30 beds, this smaller service offers a warm, person-centred environment, supported by a close-knit team and a strong, family-oriented ethos.

The Role
As Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting the nursing and care team to deliver outstanding clinical care Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance Ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards Supporting with audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement Acting as a role model and mentor to nurses and care staff Monitoring residents’ health and responding effectively to clinical changes Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service You will be instrumental in driving a culture of excellence, professionalism, and compassionate care throughout the home.
What We’re Looking For
Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a care home setting Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capability Experience in dementia care (desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and organised approach to managing responsibilities A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care and continuous improvement What’s on Offer
