An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to take the lead on all clinical care within a high-end, beautifully appointed nursing home in North London.

This is a key leadership role within the service, ideal for a clinically strong professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and driving quality. You will work alongside an experienced Home Manager, playing a pivotal role in shaping clinical standards, supporting the team, and ensuring residents receive the highest level of person-centred care.

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will lead and inspire the clinical and care teams, ensuring best practice is embedded across all aspects of care delivery. You will take ownership of clinical governance, care quality, and continuous improvement within the home.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support and develop the care team, ensuring consistently high standards of clinical care
Oversee clinical governance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and best practice standards
Assess, plan and review residents' care, ensuring truly person-centred approaches
Drive quality improvement initiatives and support positive inspection outcomes
Mentor and supervise staff, promoting a culture of learning, accountability and excellence
Build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals
Support the Home Manager with the overall day-to-day running of the service, including staffing and budgets

About You

Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing or care home environment
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN (desirable but not essential)
Strong clinical knowledge and a passion for high-quality elderly care
Confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborative approach with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Competent with digital care systems and documentation
