Client Services Director

Salary: Up to £55,000

Location: London

Hybrid: 2 days in Central London, 3 days WFH

Clients: Digital / performance-led brands

Are you a senior client services leader who can own relationships, drive retention, and elevate delivery across high-performing accounts? We’re working with a growing digital agency in London looking for a Client Services Director to lead key client partnerships, shape account strategy, and coach a high-performing client services function.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s commercially sharp, calm under pressure, and loves building long-term client relationships.

The Role

As Client Services Director, you’ll take ownership of strategic client relationships and ensure accounts are run brilliantly end-to-end — from planning and performance reviews to cross-sell opportunities and day-to-day delivery standards. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and channel leads (PPC/Paid Social/Programmatic/Creative) to make sure clients feel looked after, challenged, and confident in the agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow senior client relationships across a portfolio of key accounts
  • Lead account strategy, quarterly planning, and performance storytelling
  • Drive retention, renewals, and expansion opportunities (upsell/cross-sell)
  • Oversee account health: delivery standards, timelines, risk management, and stakeholder comms
  • Coach and develop Account Directors / Account Managers to improve client outcomes
  • Improve internal processes (WIPs, QBRs, forecasting, resourcing) to raise delivery consistency
  • Partner with channel leads to ensure strategy aligns to performance and business outcomes
  • Act as escalation point for complex client challenges, resolving issues quickly and professionally

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading client services/account management within an agency environment
  • Strong commercial instincts (retention, margin awareness, account growth)
  • Confident stakeholder management — including senior client contacts
  • Experience managing/mentoring account teams and raising standards across the function
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (QBRs, strategy sessions, exec-level reporting)
  • Calm, structured, and solution-focused approach under pressure

Salary & Benefits

  • Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Hybrid working (London office 2 days per week)
  • High autonomy role with real influence across client strategy and delivery
  • Clear progression path and opportunity to build out the client services function
  • Collaborative culture with strong channel specialists and leadership support
  • Team socials, learning budget, and a performance-driven environment
