PURPOSE OF JOB:

As a Client Sales Executive, you’ll work alongside a Client Director as part of an account team, developing and growing strategic Bytes accounts. You’ll be jointly responsible for identifying opportunities through to close, while delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and closing deals, working closely with the Client Director.
  • Developing Strategic Accounts: Build and maintain detailed account plans, track client projects, and map vendor relationships to align with customer strategy and future growth.
  • Becoming a Solution Expert: Gain a deep understanding of Bytes’ product portfolio, including technical and commercial nuances, and match these solutions to client needs.
  • Growing the Pipeline: Increase technology adoption and spend within accounts, ensuring a healthy pipeline and consistent GP growth.
  • Building Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring regular engagement and exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams (Solutions, Pre-Sales, Consultancy, Vendor Services) and external partners/vendors to deliver maximum value.
  • Applying Commercial Acumen: Identify opportunities to expand deals with services, training, and support, while negotiating effectively to maximise profitability.
  • Continuously Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends, vendor programs (including Microsoft funding), and new technologies to bring innovative solutions to clients.
  • Maintaining Organisational Excellence: Manage multiple accounts and sales processes efficiently, keeping accurate CRM records and consistently meeting targets.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years in a similar role within IT sales or account management
  • Minimum A-Levels (A-C) in English & Maths
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of IT/software and business IT challenges (desirable)
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service in an IT Sales Support role (essential)
  • Passion for developing a career in sales
