Client Implementations Manager - Financial Services (Investment Services)

£65,000 + excellent benefits

Hybrid - 3 days in the office (London)


A leading organisation in the financial services / investment services sector is seeking a Client Implementations Manager to join its Business Services division. This is a non-technical, operations-focused opportunity that would suit someone with strong project management and client onboarding experience within financial services.


You will be responsible for onboarding clients onto the firm’s dealing and custody platform, while also supporting a range of operational and business change initiatives across the full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, testing, go-live, and closure. The position also plays a key role in project governance, operational resilience, and the continuous strengthening of controls.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client onboarding projects, ensuring a smooth and controlled implementation process.
  • Deliver operational and business change initiatives within an established project governance framework.
  • Collaborate with operations, technology, risk, compliance, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong governance, documentation, sign-off processes, and project reporting.
  • Support operational resilience programmes and operational control improvements.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and stakeholder updates.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, controls, and efficiency.


Skills & Experience

  • 3–4 years’ experience in project management or client implementation within financial services.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a strong governance mindset.
  • Experience in custody, investments, operations, onboarding, or middle-office environments is beneficial.
  • PMP/Prince2 certification is desirable but not essential.
