About the Role: As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall well-being of our university environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Housekeeping Services, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver high-quality, efficient cleaning services. This hands-on position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to upholding our service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support cleaning staff to ensure consistent service delivery. Monitor compliance with health, safety, and operational standards. Respond promptly to service requests and adapt to the needs of the university. Collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency. Assist in training and inducting new staff, including temporary vacation hires. Conduct regular checks and audits to maintain service levels. Maintain strong communication with Heads of Departments and key users to understand cleaning needs and address any concerns. Oversee inventory control and stock management for cleaning supplies.

What We're Looking For:

A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for engaging with a diverse community. Strong supervisory skills and experience in managing routine tasks. A proactive attitude and the ability to respond swiftly to new demands. Previous experience in the Higher Education sector is a plus, but not essential.
