About the role:

We are seeking proactive and dedicated Cleaning Supervisors to lead our cleaning workforce and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across our world-class university. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering service excellence and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Positions available are as follows:

14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday 

05:00 to 09:00 Monday to Friday  

18:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday  

05:00 to 16:00 4 days on 4 days Off rota (weekends included) 

 
 

You will be offered an indefinite  contract.

About You: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1. A good understanding of what is required to be an effective supervisor.

2. Good English language communication skills, including the ability to understand and respond to instructions both written and verbal

3. Good customer service skills with an understanding of customer expectations and how these can be met 

4. Supervisory experience.

5. Good cleaning experience with both equipment and machinery

6. Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

7. Good teamwork skills.

8. Confident in delivering training sessions to the team.

9. Good understanding of safe working practices including COSHH and colour coding

 
 

Desirable criteria

1.      BICs Licence to practice 

2.      Cleaning related qualifications  

3.      First aid

4.      Spanish speaker

5.      Good understanding of auditing and different methods of cleaning.
