Class 2D+ Registered Building Control Surveyor - Contract

Sarto Thomas are currently partnering with a London-based authority to appoint a NEW contract opportunity within Building Control. This role would suit an experienced Class 2D+ RBI looking to join a stable, well-structured team with a strong pipeline of work.

The initial contract is 6 months, with a high likelihood of extension due to ongoing projects and the current market.

Position: Class 2D+ Registered Building Control Surveyor

Contract Type: Outside IR35

Rate: £68-70 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

*

Managing a varied caseload of Building Control projects

*

Carrying out site inspections and plan checking

*

Producing clear and accurate site reports

*

Working with internal teams and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required:

*

Class 2D+ registration with the BSR (essential)

*

LABC experience (desirable)

*

Chartered membership (RICS, CIOB, CABE or equivalent – desirable)

*

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
