Class 2 Hiab Driver

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver to join our clients team, delivering products to customer sites across the UK using a HIAB lorry loader. This is a hands-on role involving regular nights away (Monday–Friday).

The Role:

Nationwide deliveries to customer sites using HIAB equipment

*

Regular nights away from home, Monday to Friday

*

Safe loading, unloading, and securing of goods

*

Operating HIAB in line with ALLMI and site safety requirements

* Assisting with general warehouse duties when not on delivery runs, including:

* Loading and unloading vehiclesStock organisationVehicle checks and basic maintenance inspections

Essential Requirements

*

Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence

*

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

*

ALLMI Lorry Loader qualification (essential)

*

ALLMI Slinger/Signaller qualification (essential)

*

Strong understanding of load security and safe lifting practices

*

Proven experience as an HGV delivery driver, ideally with HIAB

*

Knowledge of UK road safety regulations and transport best practices

*

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

*

Organised, punctual, and capable of planning long-distance routes

*

Professional, confident approach to operating HGV vehicles

*

Willing and able to work away from home Monday–Friday

Desirable Skills

Experience delivering to construction or commercial sites

*

Strong time management and route-planning skills

*

A flexible, can-do attitude and team-player mindset
