Class 2 Driver – Barking

Location: Barking
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 6:30 AM
Shift Length: 8–10 hours per day
Pay Rate: £20 per hour (Umbrella)
Role: Food Delivery with Drivers Mate

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our team in Barking. This is a full-time position offering consistent weekday work. You will be responsible for delivering food products to various locations, working alongside a drivers mate to assist with loading and unloading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in compliance with UK road laws and company policies.
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries of food products to customers and businesses.
  • Work collaboratively with a drivers mate to ensure efficient loading/unloading.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred.
  • Ability to start early and work 8–10 hour shifts.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
