Class 2 Driver

A well established client has offered a great opportunity for a Class 2 driver in the Aston area. Our client is looking to add to their team on a permanent basis. The role will involve morning starts and you will be responsible for delivering Steel products to various clients around the UK. Proactive Personnel are looking for someone that are self motivated and can use their own initiative.
THE JOB ROLE
* Completing relevant paperwork
* Steel collections/deliveries
* Delivering Steel to clients around the UK
* Vehicle Checks are required before and after shifts
* 40+ hours a week – around 07:00am start times till finish
* Trunking back and forth to the likes of London & Manchester
* Ranging from 2 – 10 drops per day
* Handballing on and off the vehicle isn’t required – Forklifted off
* Monday to Friday shift pattern
* No Nights out required
* Deliveries to similar areas to same customers on regular basis nationwide
* Securing steel loads down – straps and ratchets
* Reporting any faults or problems to transport manager
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
* In date CPC
* Minimum 1 years driving experience
* Digi tachograph card holder
* No points on driving licence
* Own Transport
* Experience on curtain siders/ Steel
