HGV 2 DRIVER - Luton

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for HGV 2 DRIVER to work with a leading company in the logistics sector in Luton. You will be working for the client in Luton.

Shift Patterns:

  • 4 ON 2 OFF 0700-1600/0800-1700/0900-1800/1000-1900

Pay Rates:

  • 19.75 per hour

As a HGV 2 DRIVER you will need to have:

  • Provide a full 5-year work, education, and address history with no gaps.
  • Possess long-term UK work rights (British passport, ILR or Settled Status).
  • Live within 40 minutes of the site for 7 PM shifts.
  • Obtain a Basic DBS check for airside clearance.
  • Provide an HMRC employment letter.

As HGV 2 DRIVER, it would be desirable to have:

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
  • A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • No more than 3 penalty points on your licence.

Role of a HGV 2 DRIVER:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle.
  • Transport goods and materials to various destinations.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and routes.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
