A new opportunity has become available for an additional position for a Class 1 LGV driver for our Bolton based client.This position will involve driving a tanker collecting powders. The tankers have their own pump for blowing the powder into the silo on the client premises.This role is generally Monday to Friday with early starts (04:00) and also may require the occasional Saturday shift. When permanent the contract will be classed as any 5 out of 7 days.Overtime is payable after 45 hours.Minimum of 12 months experience required.No more than 6 points and none of the following endorsement codes on licence CD,DD,DG,DR,IN,TTTo apply send a copy of your cvResponsibilitiesOperate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.Safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of materials.Conduct pre & post use vehicle checks each dayAdhere to all safety protocols while driving and during loading/unloading procedures.SkillsProven experience as a delivery driver in a similar commercial driving role would be advantageous but not essential.Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate referenceable experienceStrong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 3 monthsPay: £36,000.00-£38,600.00 per yearJBRP1_UKTJ
