CLASS 1 SHUNTER DRIVER Hours: THURSDAY to SUNDAY - DAY SHIFT Pay Rate: £17.00 - £21.00 PER HOUR What's in it for me? As a Class 1 Shunter Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 1 Shunter Driver will involve but not be limited to: Shunting of 45ft and double deck trailers onto allocated bays Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Daily yard checks following site rules, health and safety guidelines Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Able to cover trunking routes when required.
