Class 1 Driver Here at HireGiant we are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for a well-established logistics client based in Gloucester . This is an opportunity offering weekday work, clean box-trailer driving, and an enhanced pay structure after 12 weeks.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

As a Class 1 Driver , your duties will include:
Delivering goods to retail stores, RDCs, and distribution depots

Operating box trailer articulated vehicles

Completing trunking, store deliveries, and depot-to-depot runs

Ensuring all PODs and delivery paperwork are completed accurately

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

No handball clean, organised Class 1 work.

Hours & Pay: Monday to Friday work

Start times between 11:00am - 11:30am

812 hour shifts

£15.28 per hour PAYE

After 12 weeks: pay rise + overtime up to £24.50

Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements: Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred Experience delivering to stores or RDCs desirable Maximum 6 points (no DR, DD, IN) Safety boots & hi-vis
