Class 1 Driver Location : Hereford Shift : Out and back- 5 out of 7 Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? If 'YES,' we want to hear from you! As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and professionally, complying with all local and national transport regulations. Complete scheduled UK-wide collection and delivery routes, ensuring punctual, efficient, and reliable service. Carry out thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle checks, reporting any defects in line with company and legal requirements. Secure loads correctly using ratchet straps and safe manual handling techniques to protect goods and ensure safe transit. Use a handheld PDA to complete all delivery and collection documentation quickly and accurately. Communicate regularly with the transport team, providing progress updates and supporting smooth operational flow. Liaise professionally with customers both in person and over the phone to maintain excellent service standards. Take part in regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards and continuously develop your skills.
