Class 1 HGV Drivers Wanted Multiple Locations

New Contract | Ongoing Work | Competitive Rates

The Staffing Network is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a new contract, offering days, nights and weekend work across several locations. Curtain-side work with mostly trunking and drop & swap operations (fragile load).

Available Locations & Shifts

St Helens

  • Nights and weekends
  • Start times: 17:0018:00
  • Approx. 11-hour shifts
  • Mainly trunking
  • Occasional self-tipping (rare)

Wakefield

  • Days: Friday to Sunday | Start times: 04:0006:00
  • Nights: |Start times 17:0018:00
  • Deliveries into DCs or inter-depot trunking
  • Mainly drop and swap work

Leeming

  • Nights only -Flexible shift patterns available, including:
    • 5 on / 3 off
    • 4 on / 4 off
    • Sunday to Thursday
  • Ideally willing to work at least one weekend shift
  • Trunk work

Driver Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) experience with recent 3month driving within 6month period
  • No more than 6 points on licence
  • No CD, IN, DR or TT endorsements
  • A steady, professional driving style (loads are fragile)

Pay Rates

  • Days: £16.00 per hour
  • Nights: £17.00 per hour
  • Saturday: £18.00 per hour
  • Sunday: £19.00 per hour
  • Holiday pay on top of this rates!
