Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers Required Barnsley Immediate Starts Available We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Barnsley area.

This role involves the safe transportation of caged and palletised deliveries, with opportunities for both day and night shifts.

Key Benefits: Highly flexible shifts available Monday to Sunday (weekend rates differ from weekdays to reflect the schedule) Competitive pay rate of £16.50 per hour , plus holiday pay and paid breaks Immediate start dates for the right candidates A typical shift includes: Early starts from 0230am Conducting thorough vehicle safety checks and ensuring loads are correctly secured Occasional manual handling (handball) of goods Potential to operate Class 2 vehicles when required Essential Requirements: Full Category CE (Class 1) entitlement No more than 6 penalty points on your licence, with no TT, DR, CD, or IN endorsements Minimum 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph (DQC) card Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism If you are a safety-conscious, experienced HGV driver looking for consistent work with flexible options to suit your lifestyle, we would love to hear from you.
