F2 Recruitment, acting as an Employment Business, are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client in Atherton, covering both day and night shifts.

This work is offered on an agency basis, and although assignment length cannot be guaranteed, the client has specifically requested regular drivers, with the potential for permanent opportunities.

Our client is a well-established family-run haulage company, now part of a larger group, with a busy operation running from their Atherton depot.

Start Time: 07:30am
You will be using a curtain-sided trailer, delivering palletised goods across the North-West. Most deliveries are unloaded by FLT, with occasional tail-lift work.

Start Time: 19:00pm
A simple trunking run to Coalville: drop the trailer, swap, travel back to Rochdale for a quick turnaround, then return to Atherton.

Both shifts offer longer shifts, so the role isnt suitable for drivers seeking an 8-hour day.
Monday to Friday only, with weekday overtime available. No weekend work.

We do not use umbrella companies. Holiday pay is accrued separately.

• Days: £16.00 per hour / £24.00 after 8 hours

• Nights: £18.00 per hour / £27.00 after 8 hours

• Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience (for insurance purposes)

• Valid CPC and Tacho Card

• Ability to commit to regular, ongoing work

• No more than 6 minor points on licence

• Double-decker experience advantageous

• Must be confident with strapping
