Class 1 Driver (Flatbed – Steel Work) Scunthorpe £17.00–£21.00 per hour Full-Time | Immediate Start Available , temp to permWe are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are confident working with flatbeds and comfortable with the physical demands of steel deliveries.The Role Transporting steel products using flatbed trailersSecuring loads using chaining and sheeting (essential)Carrying out manual handling as part of daily dutiesEarly morning starts between 04:00 – 07:00, Monday to FridayNo weekend or bank holiday work Pay & Benefits £17.00 per hour for the first 50 hours£21.00 per hour after 52.5 hours30-minute unpaid break deducted daily25 days holiday (including a reserved period for Christmas shutdown) Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) licenceMaximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)Experience with flatbed work, including chaining and sheeting, is requiredSteel experience preferred, but not essential What We're Looking For We ideally want drivers with steel experience, but we are open to candidates who understand that this is not typical distribution centre work.
