Class 1 Driver Nights

We are currently recruiting Night HGV Nights Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a well-established and growing logistics operation based in Barnsley .
This role involves drivingarticulated vehicles (Class 1 / C+E), completing a variety of deliveries includingstore deliveries, RDCs, warehouses, general haulage, trunking, and drop & swap work. Drivers may also be required to support a wider national logistics network when needed.

Shift Pattern
Any 5 from 7 - 16:00pm-21:00pm start window. Each shift will last anywhere between 8 to 10 hours long.
The rate of pay for this position is £19 per hour(inclusive of holiday pay)
This role typically involves long-distance driving, trunking between sites, and deliveries to major distribution centres, stores, and warehouses. Drivers must follow strictdrivers hours and Working Time Directive (WTD)regulations and carry out full vehicle safety checks.
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

DCPC and Digital Tacho Card

Good understanding ofdrivers hours and WTD legislation

Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly

Comply with on-site health & safety procedures

Strong communication skills
You must have a valid UK License, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.
