HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers Vehicle Recovery Operator (Colne)

Macadams is a well-established family business with over five decades in the breakdown and recovery industry. We are currently seeking HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers to join our team as Vehicle Recovery Operators (VROs).

In this role, you will drive and operate various HGVs equipped with specialist recovery equipment to assist with the loading, transportation, and unloading of broken-down and accident-damaged vehicles.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that takes pride in supporting local police authorities, major breakdown organisations, and their customers in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance.

Job Details

-ShiftPattern: 4 on, 4 off (rotating)

-ShiftLength: 12-hour shifts

-ShiftsAvailable: Day

-On-CallDuties: Required due to the nature of the role

-Training: Full training provided

-Pay: Competitive rates (discussed at interview)

PPE & Equipment-: Fully supplied

What Were Looking For

- HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence (with valid CPC & Tacho Card)

-Previous commercial driving experience (essential)

-Flexibility to work varied shifts

- Professionalism Clean and presentable at all times

- Strongcommunicationskills

- Forklifttraining (preferred but not essential)
