Claims Specialist - Intervention

Location: Leicester (Hybrid) - One day a week in the office

Working Hours: Please be aware that this position will be on a rotational shift pattern:

1. Week 1: Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:30 – No weekends.
2. Week 2: Mon-Fri, 12:00 – 20:30 – No weekends.
3. Week 3: Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:30 – No weekends.
4. Week 4: Mon-Tues, 09:00 – 17:30; Wed-Thu, Rest Days; Fri, 09:00 – 17:30; Sat, 09:00 - 17:30; Sun, 10:00 - 17:00.

Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate Claims Specialist to join our Interventions team, focusing on reducing indemnity spend by managing third-party claims effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to review outcomes and KPIs using data for continuous improvement.
• Identify training needs and support technical development for colleagues.
• Serve as a referral point for technical queries.
• Support capability building through training and development programs.
• Use audit and control data to identify systemic issues and implement solutions.
• Stay informed on market developments affecting intervention performance and develop mitigation strategies.

Essential Skills:

• Technical knowledge of insurance claims, especially third-party and intervention claims.
• Experience in a sales environment with a focus on customer attraction and service.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on gaining competitive advantage.
• Results-oriented with a proactive approach.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills to influence performance improvements.
