Claims Specialist - Intervention
Location: Leicester (Hybrid) - One day a week in the office
Working Hours: Please be aware that this position will be on a rotational shift pattern:
- Week 1: Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:30 – No weekends.
- Week 2: Mon-Fri, 12:00 – 20:30 – No weekends.
- Week 3: Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:30 – No weekends.
- Week 4: Mon-Tues, 09:00 – 17:30; Wed-Thu, Rest Days; Fri, 09:00 – 17:30; Sat, 09:00 - 17:30; Sun, 10:00 - 17:00.

Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate Claims Specialist to join our Interventions team, focusing on reducing indemnity spend by managing third-party claims effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to review outcomes and KPIs using data for continuous improvement.
- Identify training needs and support technical development for colleagues.
- Serve as a referral point for technical queries.
- Support capability building through training and development programs.
- Use audit and control data to identify systemic issues and implement solutions.
- Stay informed on market developments affecting intervention performance and develop mitigation strategies.
Essential Skills:
- Technical knowledge of insurance claims, especially third-party and intervention claims.
- Experience in a sales environment with a focus on customer attraction and service.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on gaining competitive advantage.
- Results-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills to influence performance improvements.
