The Claims Manager will provide effective claims handling and advice to Members in accordance with the Claims Department’s guidelines and procedures.ResponsibilitiesManage an allocated caseload of claims within designated authority levels, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines and high-quality service to Club Members.Assess risk and liability by collecting and analyzing information to provide cost-effective and strategic claims handling advice.Oversee financial aspects of claims, including raising estimates, processing payments, and maintaining regular reviews in line with company requirements.Monitor critical deadlines and time bars through proactive diary management and rigorous document organization.Evaluate FD&D claims for coverage and support, monitoring budgets and liaising with senior leadership on complex issues.Support knowledge management and business development by sharing key data internally and maintaining strong relationships with Members and stakeholders.Monitor Member claims performance and fleet developments, providing regular updates to the Underwriting and Claims departments.Provide guidance, supervision, and training to colleagues and third parties while attending relevant professional development programs.Collaborate closely with the Head of Claims, Head of FD&D, and other internal departments to ensure seamless operational delivery.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience handling P&I and FD&D matters within a law firm or P&I Club.Collaborative team player capable of working effectively across multi-disciplinary departments.Proven track record in preparing and delivering professional presentations to Members and at industry conferences.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on clear, professional stakeholder engagement.Highly organised and resilient, with the ability to manage complex priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Hybrid working model consisting of a mix of office-based and remote work days30 days of annual leave exclusive of bank holidaysPerformance‑based bonus scheme reflecting both individual and company successSubsidised lunch allowance paid monthly to support your daily costsExtensive wellbeing platform providing access to premium health apps, gym memberships, and fitness classes.Private medical insurance and income protection coverage following a successful probation periodInterest‑free season ticket loans to assist with your commuting costs #J-18808-Ljbffr
