Practice Manager / Junior Barristers' Clerk - Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Bristol This is a unique role for an established Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Paralegal/Case Handler who is looking to move away from their fee-earning role in a law firm and pivot their career at a leading Bristol chambers as an Assistant Practice Manager/Barristers Clerk. This role will use your current legal knowledge and develop other skills such as management of the civil team, client relationships, negotiations and business development. The Role: \n Act as the key point of contact between solicitors, law firms and counsel throughout the lifecycle of a case Review incoming enquiries, understand the nature of each PI/Clin Neg matter and match cases to suitable counsel based on experience, availability and rates Manage day-to-day progression of cases, including organising hearings, conferences and meetings Handle fee negotiations Coordinate bundles and case preparation requirements, ensuring counsel have what they need in good time Support barristers' practice development through regular reviews, diary management and business development activity Build and maintain strong relationships with instructing solicitors, attending events, meetings and networking opportunities o...
