Job Description

An interesting new claims role has arisen working for a highly regarded international insurance company in their Birmingham office as Claims Data Technician focusing on their claims bordereaux starting 12 month contract which will become permanent in 2027 dependant on performance.
As Claims Data Technician you will play a key part in the overall operation coordinating the day to day relationship with TPAs and clients within claims authority to ensure that claims bordereaux issues are escalated and dealt with to a satisfactory conclusion. This will be via telephone email and also face to face.
You will manage the claims administrative and agreement processes related to the delegated authority of the claims handling services.
It will be within your remit to consistently manage these processes and assist with identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and consistency through process improvement and automation.
You will be responsible for managing the claims bordereaux ensuring funds and collected and processed within agreed timescales. You will monitor claims issues liaising with the TPAs and clients within claims authority to address issues on a pro active basis.
On a daily basis you will monitor claims data and fund levels, analysing monthly claims fund reconciliations, addressing any issues with the TPA or client with claims authority. You will produce monthly claims reports whilst managing claims fund levels held by the business.
Working alongside the management team you will carry out reviews and audits of clients and TPAs from a claims technical finance perspective. Following on from this you will also prepare MI to based on the claims data that you have.
be considered you will need to have a strong claims background with a focus on data or finance ideally working in a TPA, broker or insurer along with a good understanding of excel and claims bordereaux.
