Orion Group are working with a successful and growing Highland-based contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the region, to source an experienced Civils Estmator to add to there Inverness based Team.

Key Responsibilities As a Civils Estimator, you will:
- Prepare accurate estimates and costings for civil engineering projects (roads, earthworks, water and drainage).
- Review tender and technical documentation to ensure competitive and reliable pricing.
- Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate rates and gather accurate quotations.
- Contribute to tendering strategies, increasing the companys chances of winning projects.
- Provide reports and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements You will be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in civil estimating.
- Experienceof pricing earthworks, roads, and infrastructure works etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tender documents.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and negotiating skilss with the ability to work under pressure.
- Advantageous: familiarity with estimating software
