Our clients are a Multi Disciplinary Engineering Consultancy who provide expert civil, structural and geotechnical engineering support
They are experts in temporary works ,ensuring not only safety and compliance, but optimising for value, constructability and programme certainty.
They now seek Temporary Works Engineers across Scotland to;
- Produce geotechnical / structural designs and checks
- Be client facing, developing further opportunities for the business
- Be supported whilst working toward chartership and have the opportunity to mentor
The successful candidate(s) will work within the fast paced and dynamic temporary works team within the Civil and Structural Engineering group.
You will play a key role in delivering high quality temporary work design and solutions across a wide range of sectors within the civil engineering industry.
Responsibilities within the role will include:
* Delivery of temporary works designs in line with project scope, budget, and timescales.
* Maintain strong communication with Project Managers and clients.
* Demonstrate good commercial awareness and contribute to sales goals.
* Manage workload across multiple projects to optimise utilisation.
* Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges.
* Site attendance when required to support client resolve challenges and develop solutions.
Qualifications
* You will hold an BEng, MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree to the role, experience and skills.
* Actively working towards professional qualification (IEng or CEng) with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
Experience and Skills
* 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
* Good technical knowledge designing to BS5975 and Eurocodes.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Keen to progress professionally and take on increasing responsibility.
* Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to engage with clients.
