Location: Windsor hybrid working from home
Salary: £50-60K plus bonus and excellent benefits package
About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with over 100 years of history and a strong reputation for delivering trusted legal advice to both private and commercial clients.
Due to continued growth within the department, the firm is now looking to appoint a Civil Litigation Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join its busy and supportive Windsor team .
Supporting the Head of Department , you will manage a varied civil litigation caseload covering employment law , landlord and tenant disputes , contractual disagreements , commercial litigation and debt recovery . This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to build on their litigation experience within a firm that offers a collaborative environment, strong client exposure and genuine long-term career prospects.
The successful individual will be confident working both independently and as part of a wider team, handling matters from pre-litigation through to court proceedings with a high level of professionalism, accuracy and client care.
Key Requirements
We are looking for a solicitor who can combine strong litigation experience with a commercial, client-focused approach . You will ideally bring:
A minimum of 2 years PQE with experience in civil litigation
The ability to manage your own caseload with confidence and minimal supervision
Experience handling a broad range of contentious matters, ideally including employment , landlord and tenant , contract disputes , commercial litigation and debt recovery
Strong drafting skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate and professional legal documentation
Confidence in dealing with matters at both pre-litigation and court proceedings stage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high level of attention to detail and strong organisational ability
A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent client care
Confidence using case management systems , although training will be provided where required
An interest in networking , marketing and supporting the continued growth of the department and the wider firm
Role & Responsibilities
As a Civil Litigation Solicitor , you will play an important role in the continued development of the Litigation Department, managing your own matters while supporting the wider objectives of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
Running your own civil litigation caseload
Advising clients on a broad range of contentious matters
Drafting legal documents, correspondence and other case-related documentation
Managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution
Representing clients in court where required
Handling files efficiently and ensuring all deadlines are met
Working closely with the Head of Department and wider team on complex matters where needed
Maintaining a high standard of client service and professional communication throughout
Supporting marketing , business development and local networking activity to help raise the firms profile and generate new opportunities
