CIVIL ENGINEER\n Birmingham\n\nReady to make your mark as a Civil Engineer in the Birmingham market? If you have 3 to 4 years' consultancy experience and want a clear route towards leading design packages, this is a strong next step. This Civil Engineer role offers responsibility, progression and flexibility within a successful civil and structural design practice.\n\nYou will be joining a well-established consultancy known for technical quality and long-term client relationships across residential and commercial development projects.

This Civil Engineer position reports directly to a Director, giving you real influence over design delivery and statutory approvals while supporting your progression towards project leadership.\n\nThe role\n\nAs a Civil Engineer, you will take ownership of drainage and infrastructure design while working closely with senior colleagues.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n* Preparing detailed designs for private and adoptable drainage schemes\n * Producing technical drawings and information for S104, S38 and S278 submissions\n * Coordinating with local authorities, clients and internal design teams\n * Using AutoCAD, PDS or Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage\n * Ensuring technical outputs meet quality and compliance standards\n * Supporting project delivery from concept through to approval\n\nAbout you\n\nThis role suits a capable Civil Engineer ready to step up.\n\nYou will ideally have:\n\n* 3 to 4 years' experience within a UK civil engineering consultancy\n * Strong drainage and infrastructure design experience\n * Confident use of AutoCAD and relevant design software\n * Good communication and technical problem-solving skills\n * Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering or similar\n\nEligibility to Apply\n\nApplicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
