Our focus is on delivering engineering insight, not just data.Our approach integrates:Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)Ultrasonic testing and tomographyMagnetic corrosion mapping (iCAMM)Targeted intrusive verification where requiredWe work across a wide range of structures, including:Bridges and highways infrastructureWarehouses and industrial assetsTunnels and complex civil structuresReinforced concrete and masonry buildingsOur deliverables are digital-first and interpretation-led, including:High-quality CAD outputsMapped defects and structural featuresReports designed to support engineering decisions, not just record dataWe are a growing, technically driven company, building a reputation for delivering work that goes beyond standard industry outputs.DUTIESYour duties as the Civil Engineer / Structural Investigation Consultant include:Conduct GPR Surveys: Carry out ground penetrating radar surveys on a range of structuresInterpret Data: Analyse GPR outputs to identify reinforcement, defects and anomaliesPerform NDT Testing: Support and undertake ultrasonic testing including pulse echo and tomographyInspect Structures: Complete concrete inspections and structural investigations on-siteProduce CAD Outputs: Develop interpreted 2D CAD drawings and technical visualisationsPrepare Reports: Create clear, decision-ready engineering reports and documentationIntegrate Data: Combine multiple datasets into coherent structural assessmentsSupport Projects: Assist with planning, logistics and delivery of investigation worksCollaborate Remotely: Work closely with the team using digital collaboration toolsCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSESSENTIALFull UK driving licenceProven experience in GPR data interpretation and structural investigationExperience with concrete inspection and site-based engineering assessmentsAbility to work independently on-site and within a high-performance teamStrong attention to detail with confidence interpreting technical dataDESIRABLEExperience with ultrasonic testing methods such as UPV, pulse echo or tomographyExperience producing CAD drawings and technical outputsExposure to multi-method NDT investigations and analysisBackground working on construction or infrastructure sitesEligibility to work within the EUBENEFITS£35,000 £50,000 per annum depending on experience25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
