At BakerHicks, we are delivering next- aviation infrastructure across some of the UK’s busiest and most advanced airports. We are looking for a Civil Engineer who is passionate about drainage design and ready to contribute to projects that connect people and places across the world.
If you are confident in MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage, know your way around Civils 3D, and want to create practical, buildable design solutions that stand the test of time, this could be your next move.
What You Will Do
Design foul and surface water drainage systems, earthworks, roads and pavement layouts for aviation projects
Take ownership of your work from concept to construction in a multidisciplinary environment
Lead work packages and guide junior staff as you progress
Ensure compliance with UK standards including CIRIA 753, Sewers for Scotland and Eurocodes
Coordinate with architects, MEP and structural teams to ensure accurate and efficient delivery
What You Bring
Strong skills in MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
Proficiency in Civils 3D and AutoCAD 2D/3D
Understanding of S278, S104 and infrastructure agreements
Degree in Civil Engineering and working towards CEng MICE
Ability to balance technical detail with broader project priorities
Eligibility for security clearance
