About The Role
Full time, 37 hours per week Working Pattern - 2 week rota, plus overtime on Sundays (1 Sunday per month) Permanent Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you enthusiastic, self-motivated and enjoy working with members of the public? Are you able to problem solve and think on your feet? If so this role could be for you. As a Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) you will be part of a dedicated team managing the Councils car parks. You will provide help and support to drivers and the local community, which will contribute in making the local area a great place to work and live. You will need to be a good communicator as you will be speaking with different stakeholders within the community to provide practical solutions for the benefit of the local community. This includes: Regulate parking spaces by advising drivers where to park. Patrol parking bays reserved for specific users such as those with a blue badge. Ensure a turnover of vehicles in limited waiting parking spaces to give others the opportunity to park. Act as an ambassador for the area by advising visitors and residents on attractions and amenities. Issuing penalty charge notice as and when necessary.
