Salary: £54,000+ Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Hours: Full-time with on-call duties We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and service delivery for children and young people with complex behavioural, emotional, and social needs. This is a leadership role responsible for the overall management of the service, including safeguarding, staffing, quality assurance, and maintaining full occupancy while delivering high-quality, clinically informed care. About the Role The Registered Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. You will lead the staff team, manage referrals and placements, and work closely with external professionals and local authorities to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities Manage referrals and maintain full occupancy within the service Ensure high-quality, clinically informed care and practice Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, and care planning for all residents Lead and support the staff team through supervision, appraisal, and recruitment Ensure compliance with legislation, Ofsted standards, and company procedures Manage rotas, budgets, and administrative functions Maintain safe working practices and high health and safety standards Liaise with regulatory bodies, commissioners, and partner agencies Promote participation and inclusion opportunities for children and young people Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained home environment Participate in the on-call system Requirements Level 5 Diploma xehkeey in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards) Minimum 2 years experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years At least 1 years experience supervising or managing staff Strong knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding Ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality care services If you are an experienced residential care leader looking to take the next step in managing a childrens home and delivering high-quality outcomes, apply now and a member of the team will be in touch.
