Children’s Residential Support Worker / Senior Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for Children’s Residential Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join a well-established children’s home in High Wycombe. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.

About the Role

As part of a dedicated team, you will:

* Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people

* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being

* Support daily routines, education, and recreational activities

* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people

* Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans

Senior Support Workers will also:

* Support the management team in the day-to-day running of the home

* Lead shifts and mentor junior staff

* Contribute to care planning and risk assessments

What We’re Looking For

* Experience working with children or young people (residential experience desirable)

* A passion for making a positive impact

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations

* For Senior roles: previous leadership or supervisory experience

Requirements

* Full UK driving licence (preferred)

* Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

* Relevant qualifications (or willingness to work towards them)
