Shift Pattern: 8am-8pm Day / 8pm - 8am Night / 8am -11pm + Sleep

About the role:

As a Children & Young People's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting young people within residential settings and the community. Working with at least 2:1 staffing ratio, you'll be ensuring safety, stability, and quality care always.

You'll be:

Building positive, trusting relationships with young people. Supporting daily routines (from school runs and appointments to bedtimes and activities). Encouraging independence and personal development. Keeping accurate daily records (emotions, routines, activities, food diaries, and more). Helping manage money responsibly and keeping receipts. Identifying and reporting any safeguarding concerns. Handling behaviour that challenges with patience, resilience, and confidence.

What we're looking for:

A caring, professional, and non-judgemental attitude Strong communication and problem-solving skills Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure Good attention to detail when writing notes and reports Experience in social care or similar roles (advantageous but not essential) Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (preferred) A valid DBS (we can help you apply) A driver's licence is a bonus as locations vary
